Hi ya’ll, I am Hannah from Hanglitzglam. I’m a fashion + life blogger based in little ole’ southern Indiana. I am attending the University of Southern Indiana to become an Elementary Educator. I am always so inspired by other bloggers stories of overcoming hardships and for giving back to their communities. So many have started small businesses, have courageous stories, or pursued their dreams. I find such joy in children – so that will be my version of helping out my community and giving back! I enjoy shopping, baking, and spending much time outdoors with my two lab pups – Cello and Mocha. While living in a rather rural area, I find such pleasure spending my free time escaping from college to quaint local towns and shopping small, or enjoying coffee at a cute shop. There truly is no better feeling than helping someone achieve their dream, and I like to play my part.
I always find myself questioning what I could add to my outfit in the mornings for far more time than I should. I am constantly on the search for charming pieces to dress up my wardrobe. That’s why when I found this enchanting hat company I fell head-over-heels. Not only do they have wide brim hats, baseball caps for women, and beanies, but they now have the cutest gloves and mittens I have ever seen! It gets pretty chilly here in southern Indiana in the winter months, so I look forward to incorporating more hats into my daily wardrobe and keeping my head warm.
Today I am styling two looks: Dressy vs. Casual Hat
I spent the day running errands all around town in search of Christmas presents for my loved ones. In addition to this I picked up craft supplies with hopes of hand-making many of my gifts because Pinterest has me so inspired this holiday season! I then grabbed dinner with my gem of a boyfriend, Grant.
I wore the casual hat look to run my errands and felt completely comfortable and stylish. Before we headed to dinner, I changed into my bright floral gown and we headed out!
For a dressy look that you could wear to a holiday event, church, or a night out with your gals, I styled my wide brim floppy hat with:
- a bright floral gown to dress up the drab weather we’ve been facing
- strappy black kitten heels
For a more relaxed look you could wear to work, a trip to the store, or to run errands I styled the ‘Anberly’ with:
- a chunky cardigan
- a lilac sweater for added warmth
- stretchy pleather leggings
- glossy cheetah rain boots
I loved both of these looks, and the versatility that this hat offers! It has been raining and frigid here for nearly a week straight and this hat kept my locks warm and dry for both days of styling.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic month of December, xoxo! Don’t forget to hug your loved ones, tell them you love them, and be giving this season. XOXO!
